The Village

Year 1 AD. A group of colonists looking for a place where to settle down, with you as their chosen leader. However, ruling isn’t an easy task and if you fail, your followers will not show mercy. Take good care of your people in The Village and make wise choices to make your Village prosper.
You are the mayor of a newly founded village. It is up to you to wisely guide the development and growth of the village by choosing what to produce and build, and where. Your main goal is to keep the villagers happy, if possible. Happy villagers will want to keep you as mayor, and the chance of new people moving into the village increases. Discontented people will start leaving the village, or may even depose you and choose another mayor.
A mayor is chosen for five years at a time. After that time has passed, everybody will gather in a great meeting to reflect on the past and decide whether to keep the mayor for another five years or to choose a new one. They will also give you an assessment of your achievements, along with a score. If you score well, you’ll get your name on the high score list! And even better, if the villagers are happy with your lead, they will want you to continue as mayor!
